My rate for a standard 50-minute session (online or in-person) is $175.00.

Most extended health insurance plans include coverage for mental health services provided by Registered Social Workers (RSW) with an MSW designation. Coverage amounts and eligibility vary depending on your plan, so it’s best to check whether “Registered Social Worker” or “MSW” services are listed under your benefits.

Unfortunately my services are not covered by OHIP.

Yes, your privacy is very important to me. What you share in therapy is kept confidential, with only a few rare exceptions related to safety. We’ll talk about these limits together in our first session so you know what to expect.

Additionally, all confidential information is stored in compliance with PIPEDA and PHIPA. Jane is used for all notes and records storage and for virtual appointments

Finding the right therapeutic fit is one of the most important parts of the process. If it feels like we may not be the best match, that’s completely okay. I’m happy to offer referrals to other therapists who may be a better fit, or if I believe my skills and experience aren’t the right match for your needs, I’ll gladly help connect you with someone who is.

Not to worry, I get this a lot, and won’t take it personally if you don’t get it right off the bat! “MARE-ee-el” is how my mother says it, so I’ll take her word for it.
