You don’t have to carry it alone

Compassionate, evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, and life transitions.

Available in-person in Toronto and virtually across Ontario

No cost. No obligation. Just a conversation

I'm Mariel Swadden, a psychotherapist and registered social worker offering a calm, compassionate space to explore what's been feeling difficult — and find your way through it.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in empathy. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you, drawing on evidence-based methods including CBT, ACT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and Solutions-Focused Therapy, tailored specifically to your story and strengths.

As a queer woman, I bring an affirming, trauma-informed, and sex-positive lens to my work, with particular experience supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community and anyone navigating questions of identity and belonging.

"Warm, genuine, and easy to talk to."

Most extended health plans cover mental health services provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW). Coverage varies by plan, so it's worth checking your benefits.

Note: sessions are not covered by OHIP.

Is this covered by insurance?

2

That's completely okay. If it feels like we're not the best match, I'm happy to help connect you with another therapist who might be.

What if we’re not the right fit?
